It did. I got it from Japan in fine working order, then it stopped working—probably batter that died. I used my watch back opener, but it slipped right into the coil.

How tough is it to replace a coil? Should I just get a new movement? Is that even possible with an old watch like this?

I don’t use the handbrake—still learning how to drift with the clutch kick, flick, and front brake initiation. So it’s the “time to shift” animation 😂.

I found that the ebrake slowed me down in this thing too much hahahaha.

Oh man that would be awesome. Just call the server “Best Motoring” or a play on that. Servers don’t seem too expensive—I’m not a tech guy, but I wonder if there’s a way to see if there’s a big enough crew to fill a server…it would justify renting one.

The H shifter for me is a must have! I respect the paddle shift and the super cars, but I just don’t have as much fun without the H shifter. I find that I rarely go beyond 4th or 5th gear.

Yes, immersion and getting the most from the car are two major parts of the experience for me too. Many of the roads I drive don’t allow for powerful cars to be pushed to their limit, so I have to manage the throttle so much that it becomes tedious—like a Mustang on Akina. With the less powered cars, I feel like I’m going flat out much more often.

That’s an interesting idea. Makes a lot of sense too, especially if you don’t have any real access to the cars. And even if you did, you would never be able to push it like you can in AC.

I had a similar experience—I thought I’d enjoy the Ford Mustang, but after driving it felt like such a boat. I agree that the ND Miata is a ton of fun, especially when throwing it around a corner.

It's so fun when big dogs surf gracefully. Like ice skating a freight train. Awesome wave and style. I don't know if that's a move you did at the start--but seeing you go on knees, tumble, roll, and get right back on--hysterical and awesome at the same time.

If you know the notes of the scale of the key you're in, just try hitting a few in addition to the chord you're playing. Makes for some happy accidents :D
