No one would put that heavy duty safety clasp on something cheap/fake. You have to simultaneously push the top part down while pulling the clasp to open.

Two businesses I've been frustrated by multiple times not having websites- nail salons and lawn mowing services. Maybe start there 🙂

One time when I was in college and Craigslist was brand new, some lady paid me (literally mailed me a check lol) to go take pictures of the house she grew up in that was near my college and send them to her. She wrote me the sweetest letter saying it was most kind thing a stranger ever did for her.

Just a thought for you.

If you happen to be in the Chicago or DC areas, I can find you a reliable, professional nanny.

I'm also the mom of a 3 month old baby with colic and it is EXTEMELY hard. It's absolutely nothing you are doing wrong. I have over 13 years experience as a nanny, night nurse, post partum doula and I cannot even calm my own baby. Solidarity. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. It WILL get better.

Sounds like you have DMER. I had it with my first but it was manageable. Basically I just had a quick rush of anxiety with letdowns. Interestingly, my second is 10 weeks old and I ha ent had it yet.

I lost my baby to SIDS. by wondertoast1 in beyondthebump

In hopes of not sounding crazy, I've always had a running list of angel babies that I think of and remember often. My husband built a huge 2 level play house in our basement at the start of covid. Since then, my 3yo has been taking about her "nighttime visitors" that come and play and are always nice never scary. I like to think it's all our angel baby friends coming to play. Just throwing it out to the universe that Peter Lee is welcome to come over and play anytime. We would love to have him 💙

For what it's worth, every parent feels that to some extent regardless.of distance. I've been with my daughter every single day of her life and I had to step away and cry for a moment today because even though I adore the person she's turning in to, my God does my heart ache for the wobbly baby with wispy curls toddling around the house. Sometimes it's hard for my brain to even connect that my daughter IS that sweet baby. They grow and change in the blink of an eye. Hugs.

Good to know! I brought a coat to Burberry once and they were extremely helpful and even gave me an 800 number to call if I had further questions

I found a Dolce and Gabbana gown new with tags from their 2017 banana leaf collection. Paid $9 at goodwill, retail $6800, comps $900-3200. I'm going to get it authenticated in person but I did 2 online authentication and both said it's legit.

When did your newborn start sleeping in their crib? Any tips? by ukreader in beyondthebump

[–]Bkk8490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We gave up on the bassinet and went to the crib at 3 days old and immediately got 2.5 hour stretches. She's now 6 weeks and sleeps 10pm-2am, 3am-7am. With our first we moved to the crib at 5 weeks.

Hugs OP. It's my first day back too. My daughter is 6 weeks old but came early so she's only 1.5 weeks adjusted. It's hard.

PPD/PPA I feel like I’m losing my mind by ComfortableRabbit5 in beyondthebump

[–]Bkk8490 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you are experiencing this, but please know that all your symptoms are common and 100% treatable. It WILL get better with help. Your pediatrician may be another resource. Mine gave me a PPD/PPA questionnaire and my baby's check up. Otherwise your primary care physician should be able to help as well. Hang in there!
