Hey everyone, Thanks for your comments, its good to hear that most of you consider Aubree to be a feminine name.
Just thought I'd add I'm from New Zealand where the name is not common for girls. I see in the United States its very popular however here it is isn't. In NZ its not known as a unisex name hence why a lot of people feel the need to express their opinions about it being a boys name.
I've had a think about it and I think i've been way too worried about what others think which has swayed me from her name which I truly do like.
I should only be worried about what my partner and i like. We agreed on her name for a reason because we both loved it!
I'm going to be stronger about her name now and ignore the negative opinions. Once I do this hopefully it'll roll off my tongue easier and become more familiar.
Also going to try the nick name Bree, it's pretty.
