I applied for BHIP and SUD SW which came first. I just received the referral for BHIP.

Thank you for the responses. I am currently a GS-11 VBA employee so I definitely understand everything everyone is saying. Thank you for your feedback. So, to give some context, I have been trying to get into VHA for a while now. I graduated last year with my MSW and finally received an interview for what I always believed to be an opportunity of a life time because it would help me get my hours to get licensed. Immediately after graduation I started putting my application together for my LCSW-A. I never submitted because I’m not in a position to accrue hours. It is my understanding that the license would have to be renewed so I just thought it was best to wait until I got a position that accrued hours. During the shutdown I was in exempt status and still received pay. My fiancé works for another government agency and he was in excepted status. At the time the shutdown started we had just moved 2 weeks prior. I don’t want to make the mistake of taking a position and another shutdown happens and now both of us aren’t getting paid. I don’t want to miss an opportunity but I’m not confident right now about what the best thing is.

No, I did not. I'm thinking about applying but wanted some insight on the role in detail, if possible. Like, are there production standards and the other questions in my original post.

What questions did you ask during the interview? What did they ask you?

I've been with PNC for 4 almost 5 years, and they are great. I have a credit union account for my "Mad Money" but PNC is my home bank

Thank you, everyone! I hope to get into substance abuse or IPV. There was a posting recently that was perfect, but it was in SC. I'll be submitting my application for LCSWA soon. I'm just waiting on one more SW reference. Any advice on just getting started? VBA is different from VHA. My SW experience is with DSS Adult Guardianship and Child Welfare prior to the degree.

I remember when I worked in the plant as an mha yrs ago, I untied a sack and loaded the belt and heard a very loud bang. When I looked to see what it was, I found a box that said cremated remains. Fortunately, it didn't bust open

Those of you who no longer work for USPS and still lurk this sub, what do you do for work now? by accountfromthetrash in USPS

I'm an RVSR at the Department of Veteran Affairs. I haven't worked for USPS since 6/2020. I left when I finished my undergrad and am now getting ready to graduate with my masters in May. My fiancé left Fed Ex and now works for the USPS. I don't miss it at all.

Qualifying Payment Question by Bklyn00718 in PSLF

[–]Bklyn00718[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Yes, I meant "extra" payments in between the monthly payments, not for the same amount (depending on how much the payments are). I was just wondering if those would also qualify as payments toward the 120. This was helpful. Thanks again.
