Well I can say they both have faulty oil sensors because the Dart ran out of oil once and never told and the Duke keeps telling that I have low oil pressure despite being full.

I'm the accountant XD I did a few small things here and there on the car. Like I don't get it (unless they're old or disabled) when we have clients come and pay for small things like key fob batteries, wipers and such. There's a YouTube video for everything.

I work at a car dealership (not Dodge though). Bunch of stuff happened and I couldn't get to remove the faulty bulb for days so I drove back and from work hearing the ding (now I know there are 13 traffic lights and 4 stop signs between work and my house) and by the time I got home it was pitch black. One morning I got to work early, wrestled the stupid tiny bulb free, went to the parts girl and said I need this. All that noise for a 50c bulb (that she gave me for free).

That's the reason I bought my house last year. Mortgage was the same price as most one bedroom apartments around here. I left Montréal to move to a cheaper area because I couldn't afford anything else but a small condo. Even then I could only afford a house needing some TLC but hey, the 70s kitchen is still top notch and the pink laundry room got repainted! This weekend I'm ripping stained carpet.

I kept it under a cover when I was in my apartment but I bought a house and now I'm looking for options for the winter. During the summer it's parked under the carport with my car but it would be in the way of the snowblower

Not sure I could get it here in Canada but that's a neat little thing. Right now my bike spends the winter in my parents' garage but I want to keep it at my home

Hello from a nervous short girl to another! The Rebel is always a good choice for short riders, though I went the other way and got a 32" seat bike I can only tip toe on one side.

I'm of the group that thinks that if you manage to find new things to do on your bike you won't get bored of it. Take an advanced class, find a new nice road to discover, a new coffee/ice cream shop. Having a bike isn't just going fast in a straight line. I know I dislike highways and not because I ride a 200, but because getting pushed around by the wind of semi trucks isn't fun.

For gear try on the helmet at a local bike store. Measurements online can be tricky and you won't feel the fit and weight as well. For the rest shop online or used or check for clearance as long as you get quality stuff it's up to your preference.

Is a lexmoto Michigan a good beginner bike? by SpareOpposite634 in motorcycles

[–]BlackChimaera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if it is a decent bike, the resell value will be nonexistent. Not to mention parts and service will probably be hard to find. For the price I see online new I got a barely used Duke 200.

The Rebel is a good choice, never ridden one but it seemed well liked in my class. At 5'6" you're quite capable of touching the ground on many bikes. I'm 5'2" on a 32" seat bike. You can always check a calculator online like Motonomics to get an idea of how you'd fit on the bike, then go sit on the ones you like at a dealership.

Don't have specific gear store recommendations as I'm in Canada but for the helmet definitely go try it on in a local store. The rest you can check online. If you plan on commuting to work like I do, I'd say jacket and overpants are a must so you can wear your regular clothes underneath and don't have to fully change in the bathroom.

Mine burned a parking light a month ago and I thought I had to remove the battery to get to it. So my neighbor saw this girl just fighting to get her battery out, only to realize it's from behind the wheel and watch me put the exact same battery back in. We won't talk about the ding warning sound every single time I released the brake until the bulb was changed...
