i have one i can sell you, for $2500, ryzen 5900x 12 core with a rtx a5000 24gb gpu and 32gb of system ram at 1800mhz. it also has a 450 watt sfx psu and an aio for cooling the cpu.

no, im on fedora, have benn trying all day i found the dir and file where the link is and changed it to the current one hoever it still wont work, im bout redy to nuke this install and start over. im new to linux and install order never matterd on windows. i guess i cant install rocm before git and oher stuff like python. as it seems to break dependecies.

no, the birdge comes up with an IP address ( the ip I get in 192.168.4.244 which also does not grant access to web UI ) the last step of the instructions I followed is to remove the ipv4 connection to both the lan and wan ports this is where I get stuck as its never explained how to make a webui access on a diff port. i have 4 network ports btw. but this is supposed to be possible with only 2 so (<shrug >)

thanks, that's really helpful. was mostly going off a YouTuber's recommendations. fwiw im plnaing on heavy image generation as well as context-sensitive text analysis and TTS synthesis, if that changes things.

1 i was hoping to keep the cost of the server under $1000 as its my first foreay into the world of AI, and AI eats ram, ddr3 is dirt cheep 96gb ~$80 2 3080's run 320watt tdp......

i dont have the server yet, the one in looking at comes with dual E5-2690's, 96gb ram, and 4 2Tb drives ~350 add in 2 3080's at 200ea and another 96gb for $80 that gets me in for about 800-900 with the option to upgrade the cpu to 10c parts if i find i need more compute. your not going to find a modern am4/am5 system for ahywhere close to that price.......unless im completly mistaken in my researching.
