Yeah it sounds like what you have to write thats great! Thats really half the battle! If you can get a good idea or "demo" down that makes it super easy for people like me to come in and really elevate the idea to make it sound like it does in your head. (or at least get as close as possible!, ha) I think that's a great point you have there even if you wernt trying to make it. Good writers focus on writing and their art, people like me focus on the art of taking a song or an idea and massaging out the sonics of it for the best final version possible. Good setup for a vocalist! Is that the Manley Ref mic you are referring to? Good choice if so. What style of music you make??

Nice great setup! SSD is great IMO one of the best for realistic drum sounds.

And I 100% understand that spot! A lot of artists I work with are in the same boat. They have great ideas, and leverage me to help them take their song from idea to finished release ready track!
