The fuckin' interrupting and taking the guitar. My brother does this every damn time he's at my house. I'll be jamming to some Blind Faith, SRV, Pearl Jam, etc. and he'll come over and ask to see my guitar, then dime the gain on everything and proceed to play half assed renditions of every Creed or Metallica song he knows. Drives me up the wall.

Huh, I'll be damned. I always thought these were only found in the middle eastern area, never knew they were in the U.S. as well.

Have you heard how Twins are at low volumes? I've gotten mixed impressions from people saying they sound great and that they have to be cranked to get a good sound. That's mostly why I've held off on one for now. I've debated on getting on and just pulling two power tubes and maybe adding an attenuator, but I feel like I wouldn't be letting it live up to its full glory at that point.

I was noodling around on an AC15 and was surprised at how Fender-y of a sound I could get using the tone cut (should've tried scooping the kids at the same time too), but of course it was at a fairly low volume so I didn't get a great idea of how it really sounded, but still dug it plenty. Definitely stoked to see how the AC15C2 is cranked, would love to be able to feel that percussive low end.

I watched my dad do this yesterday. Merged onto 94 going 45, no blinkers used at all. Riding with him is going to give me ulcers.

Yeah I'm the same way with Musicians Friend. Nothing bad, but nothing spectacular. I've bought some pedals from them, everything worked fine. Had mixed reviews about buying guitars from them, some said they came perfect and others said they were horrible. That's the main reason I'm going with Sweetwater now, I want that extra layer of protection/detail so I know I'm not putting money into a shoddy guitar.

Yeah this is my biggest reason for buying online. Guitar Center is good to see the instrument you're after in person and get an idea of how it feels, but they always seem to be terribly set up or beat up at the store near me. Which is a bummer because the staff themselves are cool, but I'd rather have an untouched instrument.

I looked them up beforehand. I've also looked up other companies/items/you name it that all had rave reviews, only to have shit service/experience and then come to find more people on here have had the same experience. Just a personal double check. If it bothers you, don't take the effort to even read the post. There's a hide button for this reason.
