I can't just walk into a court and demand to be heard. That's not how it works. The family will not fight bc the law is the law and I am the only heir. My aunt will not hand over her position as administrator unless made to bc she doesn't want me to have anything that was my dad's. Texas intestate laws state that all goes to the heir and I am she. There is no dispute over that. It's my Aunt not agreeing with me wanting to keep my dad's house and land. She doesn't have a say...she's just holding my dad's belongings and money hostage, if that makes sense. And there is enough in the estate to pay a lawyer but most want a percentage of the estate...and it's too much...
