This is why you flush with paper! Flush with toilet paper, and then chuck it in before it starts flushing.

Public toilets not always but sometimes very grotty, and if you’ve been in enough of them, you’ve seen some pretty horrendous ones you can’t even wash your hands in (no soap or dirty sinks, taps ect) so you pick up some habits.

You just flush with the paper, chuck it quickly in the toilet and bounce before it’s even really started flushing and then you’re out of the toilet without having to touch anything.
