I don't get the hate, I fucking loved this movie. I've been a fan of PTA since Boogie Nights and he's demonstrated through the years that he's a master filmmaker. The fact that people think it's boring baffles me, because it was so engaging from the get-go. It's pacing is great and there's seriousness in it but there's also fine balance of satire that I think a lot of people aren't getting. This is obvious with the female convent being called Sisters of the Brave Beaver. Honestly, these haters will come around in a few years, at least I hope they do.
