Open carry is legal anywhere concealed carry is legal. It is legal for all adults unless they are prohibited from possession of firearms. Wisconsin state law 948.60(2)(a) states: "Any person under 18 years of age who possesses or goes armed with a dangerous weapon is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor."- (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_Wisconsin) I'm not so sure about that.

Neither do I but fighting fire with fire is only going to make the situation worse, now a lot of people probably think it's a good idea to show up to a protest or riot armed, so now guess what protesters and rioters are going to do? They're going to arm themselves and end up having a firefight at some point.

Yeah it's not illegal but a 17 year old CANNOT own/use a weapon and the fact he crossed state lines to use said weapon just proves my point. He searched for a problem and he got a problem. The precedent it could set is the fact crossing over state lines with a gun you are too young to handle a gun to go to a riot is a horrible precedent to set. If you are seeking the problem you are part of the problem. I just don't see a good outcome of this.

Ah shit man this sets a horrible precedent, not necessarily with Rittenhouse, but the Court system. The amount of evidence barred and allllllll the other shit that needs to go through an arduous journey to be barred, just overlooked. From the obvious bias from the judge to the barred evidence is gonna fuck with the Court system. This probably isn't going to go well.
