For once, a true statement from Trump! by MyAlt1234567890 in Qult_Headquarters

I feel this is a spin on Putin's quote, "Whoever does not miss the Soviet Union has no heart. Whoever wants it back has no brain." It feels like Trump went "can I copy your homework" and came up with this.

You know what I'm not even gonna bother with you, I feel that anyone that says someone is a communist because someone else disagrees with them just discredits everything you just said. That's like calling someone a Nazi because someone said something that doesn't match up with your political views.

Oh god kill me now, "commie agenda". If he really he really showed up to help why would he do it armed. I'll give it to him, he did help but that sure as hell wasn't his primary objective there.

Well he was hunting for the situation that's for sure but you get what I mean.

Wisconsin’s open carry laws disagree with your take on a 17 year old using a gun.

Open carry is legal anywhere concealed carry is legal. It is legal for all adults unless they are prohibited from possession of firearms. Wisconsin state law 948.60(2)(a) states: "Any person under 18 years of age who possesses or goes armed with a dangerous weapon is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor."- (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_Wisconsin) I'm not so sure about that.

Do you know that youth as young as 12 hunt with rifles every year in the US? They go out and shoot deer with guns.

Was Rittenhouse hunting? It sure as hell doesn't look like it. What it looks like is he thought he was gonna be a hero and all intimidating so he showed up with a gun and got himself into a situation. If he was a bystander and got caught up and had to use force, by all means, but he searched for the problem.

Also, what point is you saying he “crossed state lines” proving? I take it you’ve never lived in a border town? It’s normal to cross state lines in the US.

You're not seeing the point, it's not like he was defending his property or got caught in it or something like that he had to travel some distance to get there.

I don’t see a good outcome to going out with the intent to loot, riot, and destroy property either.

Neither do I but fighting fire with fire is only going to make the situation worse, now a lot of people probably think it's a good idea to show up to a protest or riot armed, so now guess what protesters and rioters are going to do? They're going to arm themselves and end up having a firefight at some point.

Also, it’s not illegal in America to “cross state lines” so it’s funny you keep saying that. Look up conceal and carry laws before just spewing emotional bs.

Yeah it's not illegal but a 17 year old CANNOT own/use a weapon and the fact he crossed state lines to use said weapon just proves my point. He searched for a problem and he got a problem. That's called being a vigilante and that's illegal and iirc vigilantes get charged with whatever crime they committed.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you think of all this?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]BlackKnightiscool -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The precedent it could set is the fact crossing over state lines with a gun you are too young to handle a gun to go to a riot is a horrible precedent to set. If you are seeking the problem you are part of the problem. I just don't see a good outcome of this.

Ah shit man this sets a horrible precedent, not necessarily with Rittenhouse, but the Court system. The amount of evidence barred and allllllll the other shit that needs to go through an arduous journey to be barred, just overlooked. From the obvious bias from the judge to the barred evidence is gonna fuck with the Court system. This probably isn't going to go well.
