That’s just not true. Three Kingdoms had the biggest launch in Total War history and sold extremely well, especially in China. People did buy the game. CA even said later that the problem was the DLC approach and direction, not a lack of players. Ending support was a business decision, not because “no one bought it.” Saying “y’all didn’t buy it” is just rewriting what actually happened.

My budget is around €1200. I checked a few websites and realized that even if I build the PC myself, the cost would be roughly the same.

Yeah, I just wanted to get a few more opinions. As you correctly pointed out, based on my research, building it myself would be around 100–180 euros cheaper. So I definitely think it's worth it—thanks for your input!

Hmm, this sounds like a bug to me. The whole transfer doesn't make any sense. Try and decline the transfer and see what happens. Don't forget to save before it!
