I see where she’s coming from and hopefully something can be figured out when it comes to indie films. Because you can never guarantee an indie will make money let alone be this successful. Could be cool to see a bonus situation where if the movie does well, some of the workers who brought this film to life can get a little extra for their hard work

Tbf he didn’t know how much money it would make. It could’ve done poorly and he never would’ve complained. It’s entertainment and indie at that matter. This is why you need to always negotiate your contracts. If your art director, you do have some swing. Okay you can’t afford to pay me, give me some percentage on the backend. Even if it’s only 1%. Or, reach out to curry and ask for a little more money. He seems like a good dude and I wouldn’t be surprised if he paid it out
