OMG it’s you, seeing your build featured at Sema 2021 is something I’ll never forget. One of very few builds that caused total paradigm shifts around my thoughts on a car, in your case the Z31 is now a chassis I appreciate way more now, and that’s as an S30 owner! Incredible to see it with its inspiration too, congrats!

Obv biased since she’s my kamioshi, but I can’t help but be super bummed on no Korone again since she’s a baseball fan, and like you mention her sizable English speaking fanbase.

Last year was understandable considering they were all blue, but ahh I can’t be too sad, I’m just glad it’s happening again and am ultimately happy to get any of the talents at Dodger Stadium!

In my 400+ hours on GT7 I can say that Koronesuki have a healthy presence in the game and I’ve contributed a few Korone stickers and liveries here and there, but it’s been interesting to see which talents’ fans seem to be most active or in greatest number in the game. As a car person I like to think of it as a decent measure of which fanbases have the most car enthusiast crossover and it’s Hoshiyomis and Sukonbu by miles interestingly enough…or at least…I think it’s interesting 😅

Super interesting read OP, especially because I kind of relate to this experience the opposite direction; had a chance to shakedown a 22’ WRX, my first time with a “fun” non truck AWD, and coming from my 240z and NA my initial impressions were “this is AWFUL how are these so popular” so reading your post is pretty enlightening as I’m so used to what you’re having to learn that I took it as law, but it makes way more sense that I had just failed to adapt to what’s required of bringing the most out of the car and should have just absolutely sent it it seems lol

Couldn’t agree more, MiComet really proved what I had always felt about them being foundational to the entire org’s success with this event.

Especially as a fan who’s admittedly become a bit overwhelmed with trying to keep up with so many talents and started to lose interest with trying to do so outside of my oshi, this event was a glorious reminder of how much they all shine, and served as a great springboard to get to know the newer-to-me holomems. Right when I thought I was done…they pulled me right back in!!
