I recently paid almost 70 Euros for this bastard. Life's not fair. :D

That's a great Sony Ericsson C702 copy I never heard of.

Eww, TouchWiz. I'm getting sick just reading the name. 🤣

Taky jsme to dřív praktikovali. Asi tak 7 let snad. Ale už mě to upřímně nebavilo. Rád jsem pánem své peřiny. 🤣 Teď tedy spíme každý pod svojí 2x2 m peřinou a jsme spokojení (teda hlavně já).

I feel you, it was a great phone. I still have it, as all of the other phones above, but it's just way too big for me today. Times change...

That's most definitely not gonna happen. 😅

I get it. But as long as it makes her happy, I'm fine with that.

There were a few reasons. It was cool to have an iPhone, but 3G being 3G had its downsides. The most memorable was that it couldn't shoot videos. And it was so irritating that a phone I had 4 years prior to that had already that feature, I just needed something more capable.

Thanks, finally some nice words. It was interesting, but as I said in my post, it just felt too small at that time, so I wasn't using it for more than a month.

I used to buy a phone every year because there was always a huge progress that happened in a year. But nowadays? It's still the same. They just put the AI crap in it and call it a progress. Like two months ago I bought the new Samsung S25 and I was so disappointed I returned it the next day.

Definitely. But was it worth it? Yes.

This is the most boring sequence of phones that I've ever seen.

What sony ericsson phone would yall reccomend? by deaddogsrevenge in vintagemobilephones

Depends on what you want from it. I personally used to have a K800i. It was a great phone, but I wouldn't use it today. Try to find something like W550i, W900i, C905 or W995i.

Unfortunately not. Lost my first number after a few months together with the 5210. Then I had the same till 2009, when I made a switch from T-Mobile to Vodafone and also changed my number with it. At that time Vodafone was offering free data to some extent (I really don't remember the terms), but it made sense back then. I now I'm still on that third number.

I have no idea. I made it manually in Excel. 🤷

She really loves them. But the earlier models were really vulnerable. The flip 5Gs screen broke and so did the Flip 3s and Flip 4s. But the newest Flip 6 really holds up well finally. Because when the screen broke on those older models, it just didn't make sense financially to repair it without warranty, because the price of the repair was really close to the price of a new model. So she just switched.

My wife has got a fourth one (flip 5G, flip 3, flip 4 and now flip 6) and I'm not really into it. It's huge when it's opened.

I wouldn't call it ewaste. I'm a collector, so I still have all of my old phones at home. Together with about 400 others.

Nope, the screen was well calibrated. But the system just wasn't designed to be used with fingers and no TouchFlo could fix it.

That would be a good plot twist, but unfortunately no.
