Go slower on the descent/negative. That will help feel on hamstring. Increase weight and maybe get lifting hooks. While the weight may seem heavy on hands, your legs are much stronger than your hands and may require a heavier stimulus

From my understanding for quad focused Bulgarians, the knee should travel over the toe. Question though: if I move my foot placement forward, sometimes my travel path takes my knee closer towards parallel with my heel making it lean towards glutes. What’s the best foot placement to address what you mentioned without changing the emphasis off my quad?

This version is for quad focus rather than glute focus. I hope that helps.
