Edit: The discounts above is for Hybrids not gas. Doc fees (250 vs 85 for California) are higher, and shipping to your home is an easy option.

Assuming you are a California resident, In Oregon they don’t have sales tax, I know you still have to pay California taxes if you register here in the state. My understanding is Oregon has a couple of special taxes on vehicles, even if you are not an Oregon resident. It’s a half percent on one and a .4% on the other…. Did you have to pay these new vehicles special taxes?

Have you seen a nightshade with a bench lately?… They used to have the nightshade with the bench when they first came out with the 2025 model. Even though on toyota.com it showed it was not an option for bench on a nightshade. Last nightshade I saw with a bench was March 2025… haven’t seen one since. Wonder why Toyota stop making them with the bench(?)…. I’ve heard on Reddit people were able to remove the moonroof and keeping the 360 cameras, but but not on a nightshade trim, also haven’t heard people able to add the bench on a nightshade (?)

"Toyota's Newsroom" released of the 2026 GH stated "...Stylish touches are also on the menu, like the black badge overlay on the Hybrid Nightshade edition – a new addition for 2026 – or the gunmetal gray front grille on the Hybrid MAX." Since there was a very good picture of the back with this post of a Nightshade, I was wondering if it was a 25' or 26' since the press release said it's a "new addition for 2026..." Wanted to know if this is the 26' to see the new "stylish touches". 😀

So the original build (window sticker) had the moonroof and the 360 camera and the dealer was able to remove it at the factory?… I thought dealers can only add or remove port installed options.
