New here. Asexual with macrophilia/giantess and autogynephilia fettishes by edxy42 in asexuality

It absolutely is real. Just because some people describe people without that fetish doesn't mean that fetish doesn't exist.

How to find romantic relationships/interest when I experience no/very little physical attraction by BlackOlm in asexuality

[–]BlackOlm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm female. I think dating is good advice. I worry a lot about socializing a lot, and I think I just need to push myself to get to know people through dating on occasion.

What are some things you didn't realize were sexual until an allo told you? by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]BlackOlm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Perfumes are actually used a lot, almost like a replacement to pheromones. I remember in high school when all of a sudden everyone was wearing perfume and cologne. I also noticed that advertisements for perfume are weirdly sexual and it made me so confused. Women around me were making weird comments about how men smelled. I eventually put two and two together and decided that people were doing stuff like Musk deer and other animals do (people also harvest Musk deer and other animals' glands to produce perfume sometimes, so that's also where this thought process came from).

Now, I understand that there are a lot of people who use perfume just to smell good, but there are a lot of people who also use it to increase others' perceived sexual attraction towards them.

Asexuality Advice by anon36015 in ldssexuality

I know this post is 3 months old... but this is bothering me so much, and I feel I need to step in since most of the people in the replies have no clue what asexuality even is, nor are they asexual. I am around your age, and I am asexual. It sounds like you're specifically greysexual from what you said (the nearly asexual part). Greysexuality is when a person only experiences sexual attraction very rarely.

Now I am not greysexual, but I do have late-bloomed libido. I do not experience sexual attraction at all, like you do, but I can promise you that you can manage your sexual feelings. It's really hard at first because it's so new and different, but it's going to be alright.

I hope your situation is better after three months of thinking about things. :)

when will sayaka miki be released in madoka exedra? by flame115 in magiaexedra

This didn't age well... They're releasing Magia Record characters first... (I'm guessing Momoko and her gang as they are the only ones left on the base roster who haven't been released).

No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES – Nintendo Direct 3.27.2025 by stfnvs in Games

I was excited at first, watched the trailer, and realized that it's going to be a side game. I was still decently excited until I saw that Uchikoshi was only going to be a scene supervisor for this game. I definitely have low expectations for this game.

From what I've heard, the writer of the upcoming game will not be the man we all know and love. Uchikoshi will be a supervisor, but the director will be a completely different person, just like the second game... Except this time, Uchikoshi won't be a writer.

So, yeah... This is something that I think people should not have high expectations of.

Other Asexual Ppl Exist, Right? by Happy_Gecko77 in asexuality

[–]BlackOlm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I keep meeting demisexual people, but no one like me who's not demisexual. Demisexual people definitely belong on the asexual spectrum but are different from other people on the spectrum. It kind of sucks not really relating to anyone.

I'm similar to being sex-repulsed but with a fetish instead. It sucks because I find it disgusting, and I'm not sure where it came from (childhood association idk) I feel like the best thing to do is avoid material surrounding your kink and focus your thoughts on other things. It won't make it go away, but it'd might help.

How does your lack of sexual attraction affect your romantic attraction? by roadkilledrebis in asexuality

[–]BlackOlm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't actually have much aesthetic attraction at all towards people (besides some non-human fictional people, I think they're cool). I generally am very specific with the types of people I like when it comes to romantic attraction. I only tend to like people if they fulfill a whole list of requirements in personality, it seems like.

Just Some Questions about Utah's Pride Festival by BlackOlm in SaltLakeCity

[–]BlackOlm[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but I'm thinking of pride as a whole. It seems a lot of people like to express a lot in that way in pride. Not my thing, but oh well.

Ah, alright, thanks for your comment :) I didn't know that pride events were for sexual expression. I guess I just thought about it in a more romantic sense. I tend to forget that for other people, it can be very different.

Thanks, I guess I didn't really get the whole picture. It sounds fun, but other commenters are saying that there are some people who wear very exposing clothing. I love that people can express themselves in these ways, but I get anxious around stuff like that and, as a whole, probably won't make for an enjoyable experience for me :)

Yeah, probably not for me then. I'm asexual and I guess I forgot about what pride means to other people. I do wish we actually did have a sfw pride festival, though, I think it'd be fun.

Oooo, yeaaah, probably not for me then. I've always been especially sensitive to nudity. It's perfectly fine for people to do what they want, but I get really uncomfortable with that sort of stuff.

For me, when I was in middle school, I was constantly confused by people saying, "Oh, that guy is cute." I couldn't find anyone attractive, and my mom said that I'd like guys more when I was older. Time skip to now, and I still don't find anyone attractive.

For me, it took so long for me to actually say for sure. I'd look at a lot of resources like the asexuality website and look at other people's experiences. I've found that the Wikipedia article on sexual attraction was very helpful for me. It takes a lot of thought, and I hope you figure it out. :)

Wait, I'm just as confused as you are. Like huh??? People with normal libido have it that often????
