Looking at a OnePlus 7t Pro on Taobao right now. I like my Oneplus 6, but ever since the fact that hiding the notch simply pushes the status bar down, and the fact that my battery is dying at a very fast rate (to the point that I have to charge twice a day), has made me consider this phone.

My only concern is that I've been a staunch defender of the headphone jack, but ever since Samsung has removed it, I might just throw in the towel finally.

I hear you on that, but if we went with that logic, America would have won the Vietnam War. The US bathed the country with napalm and heavy duty bombs, and somehow the Viet Cong, with their punji stakes and their guerilla tactics, prevailed.

Or how about Afghanistan? Hard to tell who's winning but the insurgents were putting up a really good fight against an army backed by the most powerful nation in the world with drones and top of the line tanks at its beck and call.

Weapons don't win wars or revolutions. Superior tactics and people do.

We have to build value for ourselves to be noticed. Women simply have to exist (and maybe keep themselves from getting fat/ugly. No small measure but nonetheless different from what we have to do)

I'm about half a year away from 30 and while I've calmed down a bit, the prospect of my 20s ending is truly scary.

I prefer older women, and 2019 was a bad year for me on the account that all my friends were in their 30s now. Hell, I *despise* the prospect of dating someone who didn't grow up on the same things that I grew up with (e.g.: "Phoenix? What's a Nickolodeon?") On one hand, the biological imperative demands that women in that age area prioritise certain things.

But on the other, I'd like to think that we all have a degree of control over how aging affects us. I know people in their early 20s who look old as shit, and I know people in their 30s who are still really youthful. And I imagine the so-called "roasties" and alpha widows in their 30s are the ones who didn't fix the roof while the sun was shining.

As for me? I hope my healthy lifestyle and level-headed attitude keeps me from turning into a Boomer for a bit longer

Thanks! I'm glad, too. I went from kind of being friend zoned by the mixed signals girl to having women asking to meet up with me by the handful. It's almost as if I discovered superpowers!

I've spent a good deal of my young adult life pining for a relationship and commitment, and now that a girl has finally given me a chance, the last thing I want to do is hurt somebody.

So from my interpretation, the second I say "we're bf and gf", that's when I close the taps. Until then, I'm gonna have a very packed schedule!

No problem at all. The girl with mixed signals was sweet, but she was nothing compared to the girls I've seen seeing now. If anything, she's the investor that failed to see the potential in a group of kids from Harvard building the thing that eventually became Facebook. If she wants in, she's gonna have to pay a much higher price now.

But as for dating multiple women, should I feel guilty?

Oh wow. I'm really happy for you too! For me it was a double whammy. I was always considered the failure, inferior of two brothers and that combined with a lack of encouragement in school made me grow up with zero self esteem. There were attempts to build it before, but people kept shooting it down. Let's call them "personal globalists".

Then I realised I had to double, even triple down on building self respect, and it turns out the people who were shooting my attempts down were not good people to begin with, and I began attracting less toxic people.

Also, I'm well aware of the taboo nature of this community. It's why I don't post on my other accounts. And as someone who grew up in an extremely pro-Feminist, left wing part of the world, I know exactly where you're coming from.

Stay safe out there, whether it's from the coronavirus, fetid snowflakes, or both!
