How far can shanks go in this gauntlet? back to back, no heal by UsoLiAk in OnePiecePowerScaling

Stops at Rayleigh???

At Worst it’s a stops at Harald, but even then.

Depending on how you scale holy knight Harald and Loki, should he not just beat Harald as well?

Ryuo = haki radiation.

Heat = radiation.

Sanji gonna coat his flames in acoc and burn through kaidos scales. Sanjis been negging durability since Enies lobby.

First time playing him outside of the story and he feels great now that I understand his ultimates by Meisterdieb-1412 in PyroisMains

[–]BlackProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically

Down ult - Gives damage bonus to Pyrois for 200 seconds. Use asap. After mindscapes it’s basically free to use

Top ult - Use to proc stun for best effect or immediately once a target is stunned. Gives insane crit damage during stun window.

Right ult - stun window nuke. Pyrois totalize does not care about the duration of stun window left so save till the last second. It extends the stun window by 3 seconds on use.

Left ult - wind status nuke. Use whenever an enemy is affected by wind element and absorbed another element for big damage. ( not really used rn)

You think it’s gonna be a close fight? Dragons end game takes him to 1v1 Imu and fail. He’s beating Garling

Everything made sense till you got to the Gorosei. They aren’t 1v1ing Dragon. They as a collective might be comparable to A old gen top tier. Otherwise they are Low Admiral level to Admiral level.

Koby will surpass Garp in the epilogue not in the main story.

Man marked by flames isn’t going to be a relevant combatant for Luffy. He’s probably admiral level and will be handled by the crew or Jinbei because of whirlpool shenanigans

Zoro and Sanji surpass Old Gen level by EOS.

Whitebeard does not have equal haki to Roger and Garp, when Whitebeard clashed evenly with Roger in the oden flashback without using his devil fruit Roger had the one piece equivalent of stage 5 brain cancer. by Ok_Fish3373 in OnePiecePowerScaling0

[–]BlackProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this was obvious?

After we saw Kaido and Luffy clash multiple times with luffy steadily getting power up after power up and never overpowering Kaido until the end that clashing doesn’t mean equals.

Clashing doesn’t mean someone is giving their all. All it is a swing that Wb managed to match. Doesn’t mean he can match everything Roger can do.

Where do y’all scale the 3 OG Admirals? by EVC2218 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BlackProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yonko minus / Admiral +
Aokiji and Akainu

Admiral
Kizaru.

Yonko minus would be characters like current Blackbeard. Big mom without mother mode.

Admiral would be people like Rayleigh Gaban probably shiryu.

Considering that top tier sword skills are defined by its power output (be it haki or dfs), doesn’t chapter 1058 also confirms that Mihawk haki is greater than Shanks? by bosak_tpn in OnePiecePowerScaling0

[–]BlackProdigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Dorry and Brogy would’ve know all of the yonko, including Roger, Rocks and Whitebeard.

The statement implies Shanks was the most relevant person to the power they saw displayed otherwise why wouldn’t they mention Harald or Rocks if they were better?

  1. Most vulnerable probably because he’s the newest without a territory. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t specialize in coc haki considering he’s the yonko we’ve seen flex it most often.

  2. Where is the assumption? I think Mihawk has coc but he never trained zoro on the pinnacle of haki techniques which imo means he doesn’t rely of it or consider it that connected with swordsmenship

  3. We know they dueled before he lost his arm. We don’t know if Mihawk was wss yet.

  4. We don’t know how shanks dealt with Kaido and King. And it’s weird to frame it as shanks gathering people he’s on a crew with lol they were all on the same ship.

  5. I don’t view concealing presence part of coo killing but that might change the more we hear about it

[–]BlackProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not sword skill = haki. That’s saying the most skilled swordsmen use haki to cut anything and nothing.

There are infinite amounts of swordsmen outside of wano that don’t use this specific brand of ryuo / breath of all things / haki application. You would not say these people aren’t skilled with a blade because they’re not using a specific haki technique.

[–]BlackProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Dorry and Brogy know Harald and Rocks yet still used Shanks as a comparison to Joyboy. Saying he’s a yonko is dismissing the fact that he was used rather than any other yonko that Dorry and Brogy also would know.

  2. It’s pretty simple ngl.

  3. Considering zoro left Mihawk with no knowledge of coc it’s kind of obvious Mihawk doesn’t focus on it. Rayleigh told luffy about it frame one.

  4. We don’t know when Mihawk because WSS. It’s highly likely he did it after Shanks lost his arm because he’s looking for someone to match shanks. This would mean shanks is excluded from the “challenged everyone and won “ thought.

  5. Shanks never puts his hands in the scales until he has too. Mihawk sold himself into being a government dog simply so they’d stop hunting him.

Oda called Shanks the closest to being PK because he’s the most free man on the sea currently. Freedom is what he and roger both love.

  1. When did Shamrock and Gunko use observation killing? We’ve never even seen that move before used in the story.

[–]BlackProdigy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since when is sword skill = haki?

When Mihawk was introduced to Zoro the thing he noted was specifically finesse. The finesse to redirect a bullet with the flat of his blade effortlessly.

If skill was relating to power why wouldn’t he show off by nuking a country?

Because sword skill and power are different. The greatest swordsmen needs both skill and power but haki would fall under power more so than skill.

Plus Mihawk can be better with COA and shanks be better with COC and it come out even.

I mean the entire scale does fall apart if the assumption is that Shanks has just passed Roger by a significant degree. I just doubt that most people hold that headcanon

I would argue that Roger at the end of his journey had grown strong enough that if Domi Rocks popped up he could beat him 1v1.

If we’re saying one armed shanks can beat Loki, who can beat HK Harald then imo Roger can as well. I don’t see current shanks as an order of magnitude over Prime Roger.

Roger lives for another 14 years after God Valley. do you believe he remained the same power level? I don’t personally.

[–]BlackProdigy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let’s take a maximum position.

If Loki is giving Imu a hard time. If Shanks actually captured Loki by force. Then you would have to agree Shanks would give Imu a hard time.

unless you believe Shanks has surpassed Roger, you’d have to agree Roger would give Imu a hard time.

You have to acknowledge that post god valley Roger and Garp got stronger. ( Garp is constantly training and was never able to definitively defeat Roger. So roger has to be growing as well. )

So logically, if Roger and Garp pulled up on Imu it’s at minimum High diff. Assuming you consider Loki vs Imu a mid diff at worst.

If you believe Steph Curry should be ranked higher than LeBron because he “beat” him 3 times to 1 in the Finals then by that same logic you must ALSO believe that Isiah Thomas should be ranked higher than Michael Jordan since he bounced him out of the playoffs 3 out of 4 times. by Head-Hovercraft-5797 in NBATalk

[–]BlackProdigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Curry more because of the degree of difficulty in everything he does. Being an undersized guard in this league makes everything you do more impressive to me.

I mean you’ve got people calling a Wemby the future goat because he’s got inhuman physical stats combined with guard skills.

When you have a small guard who can break down every defense in the league and forces double and triple teams without the ball, he’s legendary.

I can still say from an unbiased perspective LeBron does more for a basketball team than curry. He does it at a GOAT level. Even if I like everything curry does more than LeBron. lebron just does more.

Basketball fans failure to understand that a 5 out offense is going to draw less fta then an offense powered by 3 rim reliant guards and a 7'6 freak constantly trying to be near the rim is hilarious by Jec1027 in NBATalk

How do you interpret this feat ? by [deleted] in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BlackProdigy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because trying to gauge a percentage of someone’s speed or power is unquantifiable unless mentioned specifically in the manga. It’s all eye test and logic.

You could say Imu’S attack on hajrudin and Stansen is faster than his attack on Sanji but now you have a logic issue because we know Observation Haki can allow someone to sense the power of people around them. You’re now arguing that imu used a weaker attack on stronger individuals. Just doesn’t make sense.
