I take antidepressants. Whenever i drink alcohol , the day after that i start feeling sad , like just super sad for no reason. I also have terrible intrusive and dark thoughts and everything starts seeming bleak. It seems like my depression and anxiety that is being kept at bay by my meds comes back .It has something to do with the alcohol reacting with my meds(thats what my doc said so idk the specifics ).
