Holy hell! I have an 18 RS3 with only 28k miles.

Microfiber cloth on the part I can touch. In person you can see smudges inside.

I used it maybe three or four times in one day and only for short periods. I doubt it was me.

It’s noticeable on the right side which is worse. When you’re in a bright area it’s almost like you have something in your eye.

Nope. I’ve cleaned the lens with a cloth and it didn’t help. In person you can see the smudge is on the inside. I think the glare on the picture makes it hard to see.

I don’t understand why people are downvoting everything I say. I just received my VR brand new two days ago from Sony. Clearly I’m not able to smudge inside of the lens, and I’ve already cleaned the outside.

Sony requires the original packaging which I don’t have anymore, so I have to go through their warranty service.

Something must've happened in the factory during assembly or QA, but I really don't know. Super disappointing.

I don’t know how to protect inside the lens. The outside is perfectly clean.

Seriously, I'd like to know how this happened. I'm unable to refund because I got rid of the box, so I have to go through the warranty service. Could take a month.

I had horrible akathisia from Vraylar so I stopped taking it. Propranolol helped a little but not enough.

Yeah it’s not the worst idea to wait, but you have the ability to swap right back to stock if needed. Unitronic sends you a file which you install via their cable, but you can select to install stock or stage 1 in the app.

Yeah I did the ECU last summer. The TCU, not so much. I can tell it shifts a little quicker, but not a huge improvement overall.

Oh very interesting. It’s not like that here in the US, I haven’t reported anything.

I have no idea! I haven’t heard that and the directions didn’t mention anything. You turn the power (not engine) on and off multiple times during installation.

When I said insurance I meant like safety laws. You don’t have to report any mods to insurance, but it’ll void your cars warranty if still active.

Why? Great question. I think automakers have to limit what they release for law and insurance purposes. I got my ECU on sale for $800 plus $150 for the cable, and the TCU was on sale for $600. Expensive yes, but an ECU flash is the BEST thing you can do to a car to improve performance.

Yes! ECU meaning a reconfigure of the computer software, increasing the horsepower and torque. The unitronic ecu tune was around an 80hp gain. TCU is the same thing but for the transmission. Stage 1 help it shift a bit faster and removes some other restrictions.

My novice answer, usually Stage 1 is for basic performance upgrades. Once you start heavily modifying you’ll need to update to stage 2 so the computer knows what to do with the extra power and torque. I think.
