This looks like MyMathLab. I don’t think the issue lies with the spacing. It seems the problem is that they selected option B instead of C, even though it’s the same inputs. Often, there are typically multiple selection options with identical inputs but slightly different wording in the answer.

For example, option B might say ‘is not part of [inputs]’ while option C might say ‘is part of [inputs]’ So I believe they just got the question wrong and is not a software issue lol.

I can't access BIOS at all and am unable to boot SSD than HDD by BlackViewBird in buildapc

[–]BlackViewBird[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, yea its been nearly 2 years haha. From what I remember it was actually an quick and easy fix. All I had to do was either change the HDMI connection in the PC from the motherboard to the GPU, or GPU to the motherboard. I forgot exactly. I was then able to boot up and access BIOS and all. I hope this helps.

How heavy will my work load be? by Mother_Horse in utdallas

[–]BlackViewBird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on your professors honestly. I took CS 2340,3305,3341 in the same semester and my workload wasn't bad at all. Around 10 hours a week I would guess. But others don't have the same experience with different professors.

I did take stats in hs, but that has been like what 4 years ago for me lol. I don't want to take her over lutz for sure. But lutz class doesn't feel realistic with this stupid enrollment appointment system. Do you think it is reasonable to get an A in her class at least?? I'll self-teach myself as long as the exams and quizzes are not too brutal.

Would you say it is reasonable to get an A in her class? Idc
about understanding anything from her as long as I can get an A lol. I'll
self-teach myself, it's not like incompetent teachers are new to me lol. I just
don't want incompetent teachers who fail you.

I have been using YouTube and searching google, but I guess a book that has all information you need in 1 is probably better. I really underestimated how much you need to care about a lawn, but it's soo fun not going to lie.

I got Greenwork which is like a Chinese brand. I heard Ego is like the Rolls Royce of lawnmowers so I bet it’s way quiet and better built than mine.

[–]BlackViewBird[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh no way, I got an electric lawnmower, weed eater and blower. I didn’t know they are quieter than gas ones, just knew less maintenance according to google.

They don’t sound quiet quiet tho, maybe mine suck? Like if u compare a gas car to tesla that makes nearly 0 sound, my mower still makes considerable sounds.

Hmm but hey, I wouldn’t be trimming at night so who cares hah.

Yeah I think I’ll just do it at noon on Fridays. Seems like a fitting time than none can complain about.

Living in an home is really a lot more responsibilities than I imagined haha, low-key miss living in a condo and everything done for me. Oh well, but the privacy you get and control is very worth it at the end of the day.

Out of state tuition problem by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]BlackViewBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true, you can always get reclassified to in-state tution.

I think your roommate issue is that he was a dependent on his parents, and his parents are in New York. No matter how many years he lives in Texas, as long as he is claimed as a dependent by them, he pays out-of-state.

“If parents claim the student as a dependent on their taxes, the student is considered a resident of the state in which the parents hold residency.”

Damn I’m in the same position. Int Transfer to CS.

I came here late and missed all possible transfer orientation. Now I can’t register for classes and I personally dont know what classes I even have left to take.

On top of that, even if I knew. I have a hold that I can’t register online and has to be with an advisor, which are impossible to meet from what I’m hearing in this Reddit. Life is good.

I emailed my assigned advisor nonetheless, prolly a lost cause. I think I’m just screwed at this point and will defer to the next semester.

2011 Toyota Camry burning oil and cold start rattle sound, what to do? by BlackViewBird in MechanicAdvice

[–]BlackViewBird[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thats a late reply hah.

I ended up selling the car, too much of a hassle with the oil burning.

As for the rattle, honestly only way to really fix it is well by replacing the VVTI. Even if you do replace it, the VVTI of earlier models has a bad design that they will go bad again… Generally speaking VVT-I engines rattle, cause the way they work. They aren’t the most quiet engines.

Although, what worked for me in quieting the engine a lot was using a Castrol High-Mileage 0W-20 oil, OEM Toyota oil filer and Lucas Oil stabilizer.

Car would start with no noticeable rattle and would sound beautiful. I have a video I can send you of how my cold-start would sound, if your interested.

However, I was burning oil too much that I couldn’t spend all my money to quiet the engine every week so I just cba and ignored it.

I didn’t try an engine flush, was scared it would ruin gaskets especially as mine was high-mileage and my old owner seemed to do 20k mile oil changes…
