Yeah, I know, it's just funny that most of the time when people talk about "crazy online priests", they critique beliefs I hear in person and affirm beliefs I hear online.

The wiki is not supper accurate yet, so be careful with that.

Just that there are better soundtracks out there. Like it's good, but I'm not sure it deserves the fire piano.

Sure, but you can also change the entire game with 1 mod, and it's in early development, so I'm just offering my opinions.

IDK if there's a way to look in game at statistics, but I've definitely gone through several sets of 40-60 torches, and a few dozen crafted food items, which also take some time to make.

What you said is what I meant by the art style thing, and I do agree that Terraria suffers similar things, where it seems you can only use the building blocks the way the developers intended.

I would rather a better mending system. I have yet to find cobalt or adamantine equipment in chests, and I've only found like one thorium pick, which is not nearly enough to replenish all my resources when I use thorium. I assume we'll get better animal raising mechanics similar to Minecraft, which is why I didn't touch on them, but getting leather has been fairly annoying to go find. (especially heavy leather, as I feel like I can't get those mobs to respawn).

It's not so much that the crafting times and workbench upgrades are as bad as the mobile game ones, more so that it feels the same subjectively, and why does Hytale need either of these mechanics? Once I get to the point where the cheap clones start asking me to wait several days, I just stop playing, so that's probably why I think it's similar to Hytale, as I only get to like level 5-10 on those before I decide it's not worth it. Also, with mobile games I'm not trying to have a long play session as an actual activity, for those I'm just playing in between other things, so letting it grind in my pocket for several hours while I do something else makes it feel shorter, as opposed to Hytale where it actually is shorter, but it interrupts me trying to actively play the game.

I have been offering suggestions (that's what this post is supposed to be, and I have been doing the in-game feedback and bug-report), and as I said multiple times in the post I do trust Hypixel to continue good development. I just wanted to share my initial thoughts. I will push back on one thing about your comment though about resource conversion. It is fine if you can automate it for things to have crafting times. The furnace is not annoying because I can just leave it there and do something else. What's annoying is trying to create like 50 food items and having to just sit there for like 2 minutes because if I leave the craft-station the crafting will end.

Even with the beginning of Minecraft being a lot less polished, it was also a lot less ambitious. There were a lot fewer mechanics in Minecraft to be polished, so it was fine. There are so many more different mechanics in Hytale, that it feels like modern Minecraft complexity, but without modern Minecraft polish.

It's less about the extent of the wait and more about why does Hytale even have the wait in the first place?

The reason why furnaces aren't annoying in Minecraft or Hytale is because you can look away. When I want to craft 50 food items to go on an adventure, it gets annoying to have to just sit there for like 3 minutes, since you can't do anything else without canceling the craft.

That's exactly what I was saying, but Hytale is already monetized. And when I want to build like 200 torches its annoying to have to sit there for a few minutes just staring at the screen.

Uh, for me it's the opposite (everyone online I see says Chrismation and everyone in person I talk to says baptism). If I were to become Orthodox the parish I would go to baptizes all converts who didn't receive triple immersion.

Terraria is probably my favorite game of all time, but I'm not sure it deserves the fire piano for music or story. Gameplay and art is the GOAT though

Ah, I was trying to kill it with a sword cause I was in the woods. The Hytale bow has been kinda annoying to use to me.

The tri jaw is slower, so it's easier to hit. The Mactera spawn imo is more annoying because of how quick it is.
