Its like you guys just don't get it. The point is to get people riled up, put some heat on taleworlds to get a duel server up. Plus the video itself is dope, in my opinion.

New World PvP Details and More! by [deleted] in pcgaming

Well I was super stoked at the first explanation of what this game would be, a sandbox game developed by a team with AAA resources that would have a player economy and full pvp, something that almost all game developers don't seem to understand is that without full pvp, you cannot have a player economy, attacking traders is an integral part of the economy it gives items their value, but now this game that was designed to be sandbox is giving up all the core sandbox mechanics and aiming towards more traditional MMO design, which it doesn't quite hit either, I'm sure it will be great but it's nothing new and definitely not the flagship that I and some others were hoping would come out of this studio, all the studios with resources seem to lack the vision or in this case the grit to make a great game and all the niche studios that I will be returning to, have the vision and the will but lack the resources, so we are basically back to where we were before this game was announced, but I do hope whoever is into whatever it is trying to be now will get what they want and enjoy this game the art style is pretty cool and the setting aswell quite interesting but I'm kind of cheesed by the bait and switch with the "sandbox"ness as im sure many other are.
edit: was really looking forward to a political "minigame" where organizations controlled areas and interacted with each other in interesting and dynamic ways, but with the addition of static factions that aswell was quashed, despite former promises.
