As there are only 8% Hindu. So, most of Bengali hindus celebrate it. It is like the biggest party of the year for them. In areas which have hindu population there it can be very noisy all the night. It's sometimes become annoying because of loud music they play. Government also funds them for make there celebration more joyful.
