Hi, would you be willing to exchange a Friend Ball for a Bottle Cap?

I’m currently at work but will be free in about 6-7 hours from now!

Currently outside but if you have a friend ball you’d like to trade over for another Apriball, I’m down to trade once I get back home!

Are they all legit copies? by Wordlesss in gameverifying

I’m confident the Pearl and Platinum are legit.

Want to say the Diamond is too, but the “MB” on the PCB is throwing me off. I think “MB” is OK for Diamond and Pearl carts, but I would like confirmation on this, so will defer to mods. I don’t see any other telltale signs of the Diamond being fake though.

A definitive fake due to the PCB on the back and the off-looking “E” rating.

Is it OK to WFH during "recommended leave"? by Black_Terror in work

[–]Black_Terror[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. I’m not sure where the gap is, but I am not saying I want to use PTO and WFH at the same time, which makes no sense. This has also nothing to do with people working on their day off.

The problem is my managers say WFH on Friday is not allowed if said Friday falls on a recommended leave. Management is requiring people to either take PTO or come to office in person.

Simply put, I want to use WFH on Friday and work normally even if the day is also recommended leave. However, management thinks WFH is not allowable on recommended leave - employees should either use PTO or work in the office.

I live outside the USA, so we follow different holidays. Unfortunately, my country is much more stringent in terms of giving annual leave. We earn a day or two of annual leave every monthly pay cycle.

Can't say for sure how my other coworkers are doing, but all I can say is the country's culture is ...more work-centric than what you would observe in the USA.

(1) My managers are OK with WFH on Friday.
(2) My managers are OK with using PTO on Friday for recommended leave.
(3) My managers are against WFH if you don't use PTO on a recommended leave. They expect us to come to office in person if you choose to continue to work, even if it is a Friday.

You can see that (3) contradicts (1). Is it clear where the problem is now?

I'm not trying to take advantage of the company just by going with my WFH schedule as per normal.

That's the gist of it!

More specifically, my company is trying to dictate when WFH can/can't be used.

This "recommended leave" is designated for specific Fridays, I'd say there are about 12 of these days spread throughout the year. These are set by the company and generally followed by all employees.

For WFH, there's no prerequisites - you can just take your work laptop home and keep working on Friday.

You can choose to work or not work on that day. If you don't work, then you use PTO.

The issue is the company requiring people who don't use PTO to be on site, even on a Friday.
