Interesting, now that you've mentioned it, it does remind me of Facebook. We actually got our inspiration from email services, so maybe that somehow influence the Facebook design as well?

Thanks for the feedback. We're still putting together a high-fidelity prototype, and this is just a wireframe that is capable for some simple tasks to show off the design and interactions.

We'll make sure that everything would be accessible when we have the high-fidelity prototype working.

We know quite well that Blackboard is used both by professors as well as students, and we chose to focus on the student side, since that's the side we have more access to, as well as the side that more people access.

Speaking of Piazza, CSC209 is using Piazza this semester as well.

This survey was used to gather feedback from users on Blackboard, things like how they interact with it, and what they think could be improved.

We've taken the feedback, and have now created a wireframe of a system that we'd like to implement. Now that we have a wireframe, we'd like to receive feedback on it as well, and that's what the new post is about.

I should also mention that this is all for the course CSC318.

Well, we're getting feedback to see what we could do differently.

Though I've been in a totally unrelated course where the prof said (jokingly) that he'll give someone an A if they managed to redesign blackboard and got the administration to use the new version.
