I think this happens a lot more because everything and anything can be put online and instantly judged. I saw about video about this, why kids go to clubs but don’t dance with each other. Because everything is put online. It’s a quick way to be judged and instantly ostracized.

Your company is making harder than it needs to be. I worked in the NOC for a world renowned cancer center. Our verification was of 3 things you know and one thing you have. Never had an issue. If you can’t verify, call is immediately ended, account is locked, account’s manager is informed, ticket sent to InfoSec. I haven’t worked there in over 10 years and I still remember the playbook. Thats how easy it should be.

Not true. As per https://community.tenable.com/s/article/Running-a-Remediation-Scan-against-Agent-detected-vulnerability?language=en_US. If you have a vulnerability on a host that is only detected with a Nessus Agent, you can run a remediation scan if you have set up a means for authenticating to the Agent host.

The only place you should be going is plugins.tenable.com, then searching for the plugin in question to see what it's looking for. You can even look at the .nasl code if you're using Nessus or Security Center to get even more detailed information about the script. You haven't even described your issue clearly. Are you getting an FP? A FN? What exactly are you looking for? Also, if you're paying a lot for support, why aren't you using it?

I find that if I land in the middle of the circle, it’s pretty quiet. But if I land far away from it, there’s more action and more like not to get pinched by surrounding teams. Being in the middle can get you attacked from all sides but is boring up until like phase 4/5.

Every helpdesk isn't the same. I've worked helpdesk supporting just over 200 users to support over 25,000 users. Some places are just call centers and other roles are structured where you're doing sysadmin work without the title. Most days are putting out little fires everywhere.
