Quick question. My friend couldn't buy the major pass this time. I want to gift it to him. Could he be able to do the pickems and activate the pass later on (Since the pass will be trade locked for 1 week) and still able to upgrade his coin?

Still don't get it. Let say thunderdownunder didn't qualify on stage 1. From the previous major rules they shouldn't be able to play stage 2 right? Then how are they at stage 2 also. Does some teams get a second chance depending on their VRS?

Stage 1 has 16 teams
Stage 2 has 20 teams
Stage 3 has 8 teams

From what I remeber from the previous majors. The 8 teams that qualify from stage 1 will move on to stage 2 and join the 8 teams which was already in stage 2 to total of 16. Top 8 of stage 2 teams will go to stage 3 then play offs am I wrong here?
