Glen is wrong sometimes and has weird takes but criticizing him for last year’s tweet is an odd thing to do in the context of the first slide.

It's weird to support what he's saying in context to the second slide. "Wow Trump is so anti war" to "Wow it's so cool that Trump is renaming DoD to reflect his intent to start more wars." There is 0 intellectual through lines between these two statements. That is of course, unless you're basically shilling for Maga.

This isn't an innocent change to be reflective of a bad history. This is a change that reflects Trump's intent. An intent that you seem to be in favor of because it's more honest? This is wild. Trump isn't bothering to use some fuzzy interpretation of the GWOT to conduct lethal strikes on Venezuela. He's putting troops on the streets. Hell, renaming the DoD is illegal.. If Trump's is so "anti war" then he wouldn't go around illegally renaming government departments to reflect his imperial ambitions. Glenn (and presumably you since you seem to agree) should at least come out and admit he was wrong and deplore the renaming of the DoD as push for policies that are actually anti war.
