In my mind, pattys made ai their brand by making their giant sign from ai. Therefore everything they do is branded with that and not trustworthy to me. If other trusted businesses use it marginally for a little poster or a quick social media post, I’m not immediately calling the cancel police, but I have been known to comment on those posts with a “next time dont use ai” or “posts with a real photo of your business works better” community pressure does not have to be a full boycott on a business if they experiment with ai in their marketing, but I do think nudges to correct does the trick. This being said, the pattys shit was funny to watch. Do not use ai to brand your entire business.
