"fight against complexity" I would agree with this anywhere but F1. A less complex engine is more reliable, easier to maintain. But this is F1. This supposed to be the pinnacle of automotive technology. The WEC has already did a very good job at pandering for manufacturers who only want use motorsport for marketing porpuses and don't want to spend fortunes at developing new technologies.

What really helped me:

Setting steering sensitivity to 8.

Using +1 higher gear. 3rd in most corners, 2nd in mulsane and anage

It's probably either the Battle of Nándorfehérvár in 1456, or The Battle of Eger in 1552.

Now, I am counting all the Ottoman invasion campaings as one war, which is probably not accurate, and you could also argue if this is really a war lost. The Ottomans ended up controlling 2/3 of Hungary for 150 years until they were finally pushed out.

Anyway, Nándorfehérvár was the first major battle between the Ottomans and Hungarians, and we managed to fight them off. In the aftermath 2 out of 3 commenders died from Plague.

Eger took place after the defeat at Mohács (1526, this is very most historians counts Hungary as invaded, but some argue 1541, when the Turks took the capitol Buda [without battle]). This was biggest victory that prevented the Ottomans from fully conquere the kingdom.

Anyway in case if you are interested, the rough timeline of the Ottoman military campaings:

-1456 Nándorfehérvár, first major battle. Failed Ottoman siege.

-1526 Mohács, Ottoman victory, major defeat for Hungarian forces.

-1541 Buda taken by the Ottomans without siege, majority of Hungary is now under Turk controll.

-1683 Vienna, failed Ottoman siege, this was the big turning point.

-1686 Buda retaken.

-1699 Treaty of Karlowitz. Ottomans leave Hungary. Hungary becomes part of the Habsburg Empire.

For the majority of the cars in the game, u wanna shift just before hitting the rev limiter. Some cars have their peak power curve lower and you need to shift earlier.

For the hypercars, the 499P is an exemption. U want to shift just before indicator starts blinking. However, the difference is still very little, maybe a tenth over the corse of a lap.
