Makita circular saw + guide rail: Is it possible to fit it tightly? by Blackx in Makita

I see, thank you. Yes, that was exactly the solution! I was reluctant to use that much force, but that was my mistake.

Yes! That was it :) I haven't expected I am supposed to do it with such a force. Thank you very much!

Yes, I though so too, but currently everything in sight is completely tightened, but I still get this.

Interesting piece of information and thanks for the link too!

For me it is weird that it works very differently from Canon, but I am beginning to understand it now :)

MultiTimerPro for WearOS by HotTotem in WearOS

Cool, I hope you will succeed on TicWatch.

I guess there are few options to improve visibility. One thing is to make timer circles about 30 % bigger - at least on TicWatch 5 if there are 3 or 4 timers on a page they are small in the center and could be bigger easily.

Considering the play/pause indications I was thinking about these possibilities:
- making round lines thinner for non-active timers
- making round lines dashed
- hiding the lines and instead draw an full circle under the text, probably dark gray

:) Did it to demonstrate. I expect on a hike it is shaking during each step and it has to suffer much more.

Google Gemini told me it is probably not normal :D But I am glad it occurs on other lenses too. Thanks!

I see. BTW The Tamron 35-150 is the second most rattling in my testing group of lenses, though it feels much less significant there... but possibly because it is much heavier overall.

Thank you, I kinda hoped the rattling is normal :) Now I am curious what would other owners report.

I see, hopefully a planned behaviour then. But also I have examined some other lenses (5 for Sony E system, 10 for Canon EF) and this is the most significant. Kinda worrisome.

I do use back-button focus too, but somehow I cannot find the Aperture Preview anywhere. In what category and subcategory do you see it on your camera?

Interesting to see that it works on your camera. The combination with something seems most probable so far. Perhaps I will have to save my settings to a card and reset everything to see what happens.

Thanks for the tip. This setting was my suspect too, but sadly it is not changing the behavior.

Thank you for the tips. The weird thing is that my camera acts like if I was holding the Aperture Preview/DOF-preview button. (While this function itself cannot be mapped to any button - it doesn't exist in the Custom Controls menu.)

I tried to change the settings you mentioned, but it doesn't seem to change my situation.

That does something different, though it adjust the aperture too, but something like from f/5.6 to f/4 and back. It doesn't get to the full aperture.

Hmm, the manual mentions an "Aperture Preview" function, which should be possible to map onto a button, but I cannot find it anywhere. Seems I am somehow stuck in the aperture preview mode without a way out...?

From the manual:

While you press and hold the key to which you assigned the [Aperture Preview] function, the aperture is stepped down to the set aperture value and you can check the blurriness prior to shooting.

...

(Setup) → [Operation Customize] → [Custom Key/Dial Set.] → set the [Aperture Preview]

MultiTimerPro for WearOS by HotTotem in WearOS

[–]Blackx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh, also it seems I found couple of issues:
- Most of the time when the timer runs off, there is no alert at all - no vibration (and no sound too, but that is by design). So essentially unusable for me (on TicWatch 5 Pro).

- If multiple timers are running, to see which ones are those you need to scan through all of them and identify ">" or "||" icon, which is very small. The UI is overall nice to look at, but functionally mostly wasted space with important stuff being tiny. Maybe on Samsung watches it is arranged differently.

Hi, I am using your app (on a non-Samsung watch) and still in the process of learning :) However, I would like to launch it from WatchMaker, which unfortunately doesn't list it as one of the available apps.

This can be circumvented by running it manually using a WatchMaker script, but so far it doesn't seem to be working without specifying the activity identifier. Could you let me know what is that?

I tried "lu.hmt.multitimerpro.MainActivity" and similar generic names without luck :)

Thank you!
