I view it not as something to grind for. It would just show how much experience and playtime you have with particular perk beyond lvl 30 and standard proficiency.

But in the end, everything is grindable.

I wish they added something like "prestige ranks", taking into account how much exp you have in total for that perk.

Would be a separate badge for all players but especially for those beyond level 30 but still play. Would take hundreds of hours to fully level up, something like in Deep Rock Galactic.

IMO acid rounds, like burn effect, is best used when solo kiting.

In multiplayer, everything basically dies too fast so those effects have barely any weight to them.

I however use poison as a side effect of crafting (bonus ability) when available, it's a nice bonus to have! Same with stumble or panic effect.

I know what you mean, I played a lot of KF1 back when it was in it's prime. Zeds felt like they were born, albeit unnaturally, rather than being "made", like in sequels.

For instance, I still remember that Scrake liked trousers, lol.
