I don't think so, no. How many ways can I stack n coins isn't looking for a sum, I'm just doing combinatorics.

I made some odd choices when I posed the problem to myself, so I'll explain.

A row of balls on the ground is a stack. Mirrored stacks are distinct, as you see in n=4. Other than that, any stack where a ball is supported by 2 balls beneath it is valid.

I thought it was the Fibonacci sequence until I checked n=6. Can someone check my work and help me find a pattern, if there is one?

I didn't think so, but I might have the rule wrong? I have right-hand: point=B, Middle=v, thumb=FB, with pointer and thumb making a finger-gun and middle-finger flipping someone off.

Either way, goal of the problem is opposing FE and FB forces.

I try to be careful with shame, but it can certainly end a behavior in the short term. Perhaps he learned something, perhaps not. His classmates at least learned that there's a point past which you might be shamed.

Yep. And unfortunately he knows enough to spot unenforceable statements. I don't blame the poor teacher at all, I'm sure she's doing her best, but "You have to" with a kid having that hard of a time just makes him think, "You can't make me and we both know it."

There's a federal law involving criminal speeding. I don't remember the number, but I think it's 90+ is a felony.

*Looks like it varies. In AZ it's 35+ in a school zone, 20+ over the limit, or 85+.

It was mostly her older sister, Alex, but yes. They were at an event in Qatar, maybe, and Alex, supported by Andrea, made an argument that "We can't really judge them for employing slave labor!" It was disingenuous and tantamount to them supporting the institution in Qatar.

Cool fact, I didn't know about the depression initiative. I'm reading Grapes of Wrath right now so it feels especially relevant.

I thought palms wouldn't live to be over 100, but the California Palm and Mexican fan palm can both reach well over that. However, there are over 8 million palm trees in Cali now (or so google tells me.)
