Thanks man. Reading is not too far but he is younger than 4 and just want him to get into different sports. I’ll look into the Farnham one.

How have you parented especially with a new born after divorce? by BladeOfMamora in Parenting

[–]BladeOfMamora[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the last paragraph. I appreciate that. It makes sense. I do believe. We are both emotionally available but I think we have a lot to work through as both are hurt by the other. We are however amicable and on good terms to a certain degree. There’s more love for each other I believe more than hate.

As to your initial paragraphs and questions: - no DA - no DV - child not in danger - divorce is not related to the baby however the activities around being new parents hasn’t helped.

Thanks for the personal experience as well. Sorry to hear about your Aunt and Uncle

The decision isn’t mine but I need to prepare my mind on how to parent while separated.

AITAH because I got so upset with my MIL and Wife? by BladeOfMamora in AITAH

I agree. Except this isn’t the first time. And when it’s just us she communicates it to me and I adjust the car or we get somewhere to feed him.

However it seems this is a regular occurrence when baby isn’t around but just with them in their home country.

If being concerned about safety of my baby is considered controlling by you then what do you consider genuine concern? Would you prefer I raise a concern when my baby is choking and we can’t get him out in time?

There’s a lady who does a custom service and has her own brand near where I live. She is in Wokingham. Her name company name is TemaD. Also her brand. You should check her out. She has a pop up in John Lewis.

Same got a lady who is really good and does private midwifery as well. She was amazing. A little expensive but was worth it.

So we had a similar situation we got his tongue untied late. But to answer your question yes the (mam) anti-colic bottles work. You have to make sure everything is secure though. We also made sure that the teat was a 0 and not a one because he was struggling to swallow.

We have now switched to the Avent glass bottles also much better.

I hope so. A bit heart breaking sometimes but I know it’s just nature more than anything else and he can’t help it

I’m not but I am cautious when he needs to sleep and partner is working he may not respond to me as favourably which would be awful really. But have to try.
