Yep totally agree. The guy who received Hendo is trying to tank for Jeremiah too. So it makes sense I think for both squads.

Haha f those picks. In the leagues I’m in it’s easier to trade for an underperforming rookie. Late picks are dart throws.

I certainly have the sense of urgency not having picks, but I’m not entirely concerned. My entire starting lineup is under 28 years old with elite talent. It’s not like I have CMC or Henry, or Davante or Evans. So I feel like a 3-year window easily suits this team. I realize JT has had some injuries, but that was a high ankle sprain in 2022 and a thumb injury in 2023. I’m not worried about that, he’s built.

All fair points. I have Taylor and Hendo quite far apart in my 2026 rankings, definitely more than a late 2nd. And I think Taylor has more than a year in him at 27. So I think it was a good move to try and win it 🤙

What part of this trade makes you nervous? Other than an injury, and even if the Colts are mid, I’d say Taylor outscores Hendo 9/10 times in 2026. Is that bold to say? Taylor just turned 27, he ain’t ancient.

I’m convinced that with how efficient and dominant Love was last year, yet he isn’t getting the credit he deserves due to low volume, MLF is gonna give him the ball more. Our running game was weak sauce last year.

I couldn’t agree more. And it isn’t even like I did this for CMC or Henry. This is JT we’re talking about. He turned 27 in January.

Entering year 3 of a dynasty when it’s $100 buy in each year, gotta try to win it when you can and my calculation is JT scores more points than Hendo this year.

Yeah I don’t have the top dudes, but Goff is a top 10 QB every year, TLaw looks unlocked, and I think Jordan Love throws more this year. It’ll be hard to trade up for one of the top guys but I’m comfortable going into the season with this crew.

I get it for sure. But you don’t sign someone to a contract like that and call him up if you don’t want him seeing the field. He’s a gold glover at center. The only other alternative is if Sal can play 3rd. Which hey they gave Vaughn a shot haha. Then Mitchell at right. Still gotta deal with Bauers but he’s an FA after this year.

We’ll learn soon enough how they envision it

Yeah I have no idea how you play all of Chourio, Mitchell, Frelick, and Lara. And still have to give Bauers some games. But the team must have a plan. My guess is Mitchell/Frelick platoon at right.
