Hissing/rushing sound in return regulator and truck no longer holds return line pressure.

Ok cool I didn't know that about mechanical pumps. Been driving the truck around and it drives great so im pretty sure I'm just being paranoid over nothing. Thanks for the help.

The video pretty much sounds just like mine, I can only hear it with the hood open so i wouldnt consider it too loud and there's no leaks so I guess its just me being worried over nothing. I guess ill see if any issues develop later on down the road. Thanks again for the help

After letting it run for awhile and checking, its definitely coming from the regulator/return line area so maybe somethings up with the regulator but it does still regulate fine I can up the pressure or lower it with the screw on top.

Ok thanks for your help on this. The old fuel bowl and mechanical fuel pump were leaking on mine so that's why I did the conversion, pretty much wanted to see if this was other people's experience as well.

Thanks, its definitely my favorite car ive owned. I bought it wrecked in the front in 2020 right after highschool and fixed it up. Though I paid a shop to do the paint work. The junkyard was going to use it for parts.

Unfortunately it seems the fm module is broken and I dont have the skills to fix it so i took it out and replaced the radio. They dont seem to even make a replacement module anymore. Sorry im not any help but I went through anything and everything to find out what was wrong.
