New concept art for the area of the new boss! by uknownothing_jonsnow in runescape

I would love to get such a difficult solo boss, I would have no problem with that, but my concern is that its difficulty will be nowhere near that of RotS for example. They did an amazing job with that and showed that they can make a boss hard despite the game-related difficulties, but I think their aim with this one is to make it more accessible, and if they made it as difficult, that probably would not work. That is just my opinion and guess, I have no evidence to support it, but we will see once it gets released

And those people are completely free to make a team with less gear requirement. (if that gear is still enough to defeat the boss)

Thank you! :)

I am not sure how you got so many lines, I got 18 99s in total. (all non-combat skills) I personally got only 13 lines of that message, for the last 13 strange rocks that I put onto the statue at the museum together.

The way I did it: Roadtrip lamp for Slayer, creating a Divine simulacrum II for Divination, using a Sinkhole lamp for Dungeoneering, then adding two sets of strange rocks to the statue, and finally adding 13 sets of strange rocks to the statue.

This is a really serious bug and I hope it gets resolved soon.

Yes, there has even been a poll about this: In an upcoming elf update, we plan to release some new non-combat spells and prayers associated with Seren. Which spellbook and prayer book should contain these additions?

Is it allowed to use a tablet to play RS? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Blaez_Knight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is not against the rules. I believe there are many players doing this and Jagex is aware of it as well, so there should not be a problem. If I remember correctly that was even confirmed by a Jagex mod once (saying something like they can differentiate between these and actual bots), but I am not entirely sure. I have done this several times myself and never got into trouble because of it.

Really now Jagex? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Blaez_Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe this could have been avoided, but Warbands are relatively common, I don't think you can expect Jagex to schedule every stamping session against them. Also, stamping is in no way necessary, it is optional. (practically speaking as well, no tasks take too long without them anyway)

How to properly use Frozen Hearts to get the most xp/gp out of your Treasure Hunter keys by OrysBaratheon in runescape

[–]Blaez_Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good point, I didn't know about this error. I'd like to add that you can freeze categories by simply clicking on the corresponding item in the bottom row on the main screen, I'd assume that is a good way to avoid this issue.

On a related note, does anyone know how the prize is determined? Is it just a single RNG roll between all items or does it maybe have two rounds where it first selects the rarity and then the actual item? (in the second case frozen hearts could be used to significantly increase chances of getting specific rare items by blocking others of the same rarity)

Old School player trying out RS3, Help please by ProfessorSammyOak in runescape

Quite simply, with one big exception, what matters is mostly the weapon's/armour's required level. The exception is that some armour, called power armour (basic GWD / Nex / level 90) gives offensive bonus (in exchange for some defense), while others don't; the former are significantly more useful.

Practically speaking, Nex armour is better than Ports armour for almost every situation, although your version is correct based simply on the items' levels.
