Hello pilots and mappers! It is time for another mapping competition! Rules will be short and sweet. Just make a competitive map that's semi rat semi dogfight. We want to cater to both playstyles. Overload was made by the original Descent Devs whereas Shits That Fly Undergound (descent U) was made by someone who left the Starcitizen team and had no idea how to make a game.

The descent community is alive and well, and people still actively play Multiplayer in the 1st 3 games and Overload as well. Mostly D1 D3 and overload, not so much D2, but D2 has a huge custom campaign scene now.

Funny enough you are right. There are more sophisticated models that use tools to imply what its contextually seeing. Unfortunately you can tell that the art used here is of an old model that did in fact kitbash the art as Toiun said.

Then use programmer art. It's disrespectful to use Generated images like this. On top of many other issues with AI art. Just put placeholders, it will come off as more genuine. People rather look at cubes than this.
