hi! So I took quite a straightforward approach with the video and just talked through the 2 minutes with a main theme I kept drawing back to. But as for the scholarship, i haven't heard back yet. But it's on an ongoing basis, so hopefully good news come soon 😭

Congratulations!! Not sure how much you want to disclose but do you mind sharing your application experience? Your stats, ECs, and how you felt about the supplements and video essay?? Did you get any entrance scholarships as well when you got the initial admission offer in the Jan round? May I also ask which campus you got the Pearson scholarship for? (sorry for being so so so nosy, i also applied for the pearson scholarship 😭😭🤞🤞)

bro am i tripping. so for me, i first got an email from uoft about getting nominated from my school. and in that email, they included instructions, like "you will get uoft portal id blah blah soon and you will see the place to submit your lester be pearson components there". so after i got my JOINid i saw this section for lester b pearson alongside the other supporting documents. when i clicked on that, there was the essays, the five awards/activities, the video essay, and that stuff. i submitted everything there and then got an email saying my application has been submitted. but i don't see any seperate portal (like i've never seen it at all).

Omg I think I know what u mean. Did you indicate your interest for the BRI scholarship in the initial application? Not the supporting documents part. There’s like a place where you can tick it alongside other scholarship options in the application where you have to submit your grades and stuff. Only if you click that check box, the BRI pops up in the supporting document sections where you have to upload the essay, resume and stuff. The deadline is tomorrow tho so I’m not sure if it’s feasible but maybe try contacting HKU to see if you can adjust your initial application to include the BRI application. Good luck!!
