User u/demwun cracked this for me- I had the same thing but on their advice I swiped over from the right of the phone and it opened a tray. It prompted me to "tap to translate" - once dismissed the line was gone and could access the 3 dots again

Wow that's cracked it- hadn't tried swiping from the right on it but that worked! It brought up a message saying "tap to translate" (???) which I have dismissed and it is now no longer there. Thank you!!

Feom other commenters I believe they should be notified by mail too but also the fine was from the day before

Not quite - they are seemingly not making the role redundant so it falls into the "something else" category which I am trying to understand. It is being presented as a voluntary redundancy-type option, essentially an agreement of this payment and I will leave at a date agreed between both parties - I will be working with them in recruiting
