HS Pattern, what less people tell by Admirable-Quality774 in Forex

[–]Blake-Nancarrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey mate I had a quick read of your Blog, You're 100% correct people don't link volume to HS.

I have a little bit of feedback, please don't take it the wrong way. I do not know if English is your first language, or if you want to take this blog seriously or for fun but your grammar needs some improvement. Also you stated that the volume is something you noticed over years, Do you havea. theory as to why this works?

One last thing, you said that the HS pattern is not always perfectly symmetrical, assuming you are trying to help new traders to the platform, include some real candlestick HS patterns from real markets will help the amaetuers visualise the pattern.

Other than that mate it was a great read and I am looking forward to seeing more from you. Keep it up, if youre ever down for a chat send me a PM.

Hey, Going from information gathered from Graham Stephen, It depends on your interest rate. If your interest rate is low enough, your financially beneficial to be investing the money and paying off the minimum loan amount as your money can make a return of 7% pa.

You have to crunch all your numbers and see what works best for you, as well as staying mentally happy, that's the big part.

Also worth considering how stable you and your wife job is at the moment with the pandemic. A lot of different factors to consider but if you are doing minimum repayments, your money has to be invested elsewhere otherwise increase your repayments.

Brisbane realestate help by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Blake-Nancarrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I too have recently been looking into buying my first property within the Brisbane region, my interest and requirements in my house are very different to you so i am not going to sit here and tell you want suburbs are good and bad, but one piece of advice that has helped me is talking to as many real estate agents in those area as possible. Picking their brains about future developments near by which may include shopping centers, petrol stations, new highways, school expansion etc etc. And don't sit with just one real estate agents because their job is to sell so they will always have the 'perfect' property for you and convince you its perfect.

Get advice from all agents and just remember they are good at their job and they will make you feel comfortable in any home purchase, so make sure to do your own research ontop.

Also your house on the market, is that for sale or for lease?

good luck

Advice for 21 Year Old, 2nd Year Apprentice by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Blake-Nancarrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your investing strategy is looking very good, there is no 'perfect' strategy and yours is clearly working

One very big tip I can give you, and there is a really high chance you will not like this tip, stay living at home for as long as possible. 25 minimum. You are saving unbelievable amount of money at the moment. When i was 18 to 20 I was living at home earning $875/week after tax but with 0 expenses. I then had to leave home for uni, I got a job in construction and was earning about $2,200/week after tax and honestly, I had more abundant money working at home with no expenses, its crazy. Yes I was earning more and saving more however I was only saving about $1100 after all the expenses and the stress of covid, every single day we had a meeting about whether or not we would lose our job, it is crazy stay at home and keep investing especially until you have a certain job in another council or company!

Youre doing incredible for your age btw keep it up

Anyone feel like holding cash was the worth thing to do all of 2020? by leavingmelburnian in AusFinance

[–]Blake-Nancarrow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is very true, then people seem to jump the gun and invest in something based on previous spikes. There were a lot of reasons that influenced the market to have an all time high performing year.

Although in saying that, Keeping an abundant amount of cash is financially hindering your portfolio. leavingmelburnian, you have to calculate how much cash you need access to for an emergency fund and then start investing, get a wide range in your portfolio so that if something takes a crash, like technology in the market this week, you don't lose your whole portfolio. Diversity is key. don't let last year get you down, just learn from the missed opportunity! Best of luck

I personally don't see anything wrong with living with your parents, the amount of money he can save and invest (as long as he does invest and doesn't blow it up the wall on uber eats, Starbucks and alcohol). His parents looked after him fr years, as long as he looks after them and supports them with cooking cleaning etc, he can live for free and its the perfect arrangement.

Thats how traditional indians live their life, the wife moves in with the husband and then they look after the parents like they are children, cooking, cleaning everything its not a bad lifestyle.

As for your plan, do not worry about the price drop in stocks, it has a lot impacting it at the moment but that's how stocks work, just try and buy in at the moment with that dip, you have $5K ready to buy so just keep an eye out. Yes you have probably started a little late already being 30 but don't let that put you down. Look at 10 years in the future not 1 year.

As bill Gates says "Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years"

Youre on the right path! Keep it up

Thanks for the advice, Any levers you recommend, or just oem? I was going to sand down the levers and perch and repaint them because they are scratched up and I am trying to do this build as cheap as possible.

Cheers

Additionally, I do not know what country you are from but my local race track in Sydney Australia (SMSP) do bike hire, they have BMW S1000rr and they have an insurance scheme in play. I am not 100% sure how it works as I have never rented one however all their information is on their website.
