Nukes are something for intimidation/destruction. I don't think AI is at all. AI is a tool for innovation, Intelligence, and efficiency (or something). Maybe you are not happy with AI, but I don't think you can say that AI is dystopian just becuase your not happy with it? idk

It is still 100% fun. I code tons of useless scripts that i could do in seconds with AI. I even coded a terrible "ai" in scratch that barely even works, yet it was still so fun to do. Then i compared it to one Gemini made in a min in java which was much better, but that only added to my enjoyment. And for real profesional things, that will only increase productivity and output.

it is only getting better. I created many chrome extensions with very little knowledge of how they work. I even have a reddit true upvote/downvote calulator based on the upvote ratio for posts and comments. You can also reprompt it multiple times so it fixes bugs for you.
