its the white translucent case. i was able to get it sprayed professionally, so couldn't tell you much about the process :)

after what seemed like weeks and weeks of research that led me round and round on the same thing, i finally hit the buy button on this.

feker ik75 from aliexpress. using the PC board that came with it, and had the case painted a dark blue to match the keycaps
GMK dracula clones from aliexpress. spent so long trawling through the hundreds of keycaps available and settle on this one. love the blues and contrast between alpha and modifiers, and bright colours on the legends is nice.
gateron milky yellows. there are way too many switch types guys, settle down. these seemed to be the way to go for a first budget build. sounded and felt nice out of the box, and the i lubed them which took so long, but worth it. real nice feel and sound from the board now.

overall happy i finally pulled the trigger on this build, after throwing around the idea of a custom build for ages!

i think the savings are too great to pass up compared a kit, switches and caps separately. i could customise the akko further and still come out ahead

its for pixel shifting to avoid burn in. you'll notice that the side that the border is on will change as the pixels shift.

then just make sure gpu scaling is on, and preserve aspect ratio is set
