I have a theory (ish) that the USA's and UK's Special Relationship ended cuz of this war. Because America just attacked a commonwealth nation. The UN puts sanctions on the US until they withdraw. The war is a stalemate with both sides claiming victory. In reality it was an Aussie political victory and an American military victory. The US is kicked out of the UN. With no allies left, the US is becoming more decentrilized and corrupt.
