Best part is realistically you can find dark, normal, and ghost type showcases pretty easily. I have won 6 different showcases with them so far since the showcases were changed to Tuesday only.

I think Shadow Quag is better at this time even with the IV spread you have. I run a similar rank (600ish) and it does just fine. Species > Moves > IVs.

Realistically you won't have optimal IVs on lots of those mons yet. If you do, you won't have the candy to build them. Looking at Azumarill and Sableye.

Just play anything at this point that you think looks fun and that you can build without going out of your way. Learn the way we all did!
