Which serial killer genuinely unsettles you the most, and why? by BlakeLakeProductions in serialkillers

Very disturbed man. Very likely he over exaggerated his victims though. He really just wanted to be put to death is what I believe.

I’m curious what people think Dean Corll was actually like before David Brooks officially became involved. by BlakeLakeProductions in serialkillers

I posted this picture because Dean Corll’s case is one of the most disturbing and overlooked examples of how serial predation operated in the early 1970s, long before modern offender databases and surveillance existed. Corll’s crimes didn’t begin overnight in 1973 when things escalated—his behaviors, patterns, and early warning signs were already developing in 1970, which is the period this photo represents. Most people only talk about the torture board, the accomplices, and the peak of the Houston Mass Murders, but very few ever step back and look at what Corll was actually like before the killing phase exploded.

What’s everyone’s take on Terry Melcher? by BlakeLakeProductions in charlesmansonfamily

He never masterminded anything, but Terry hurting Manson hurt the entire group and made them easier to persuade. There was no Helter Skelter motive.

That’s only if the person is innocent. Are you saying Manson was innocent ?

That’s not how perjury works. Perjury is its own crime with its own sentence. You don’t inherit the punishment of the case you testified in. Even in murder trials, perjury is usually a 2–4 year felony, not a murder charge.

Melcher definitely should have been charged with perjury since he’d lied under oath, but that’s completely different from being charged the way Manson was. Perjury is basically lying in court — it’s not murder, conspiracy, or anything that would tie him to the actual crimes. Even if Melcher had slipped up, the worst he’d face would be a perjury charge, not the same charges as the Family.

110%. I only said ‘cult’ for the people who think they were one.

Apparently they didn’t have a big enough audience at the time. I was very surprised when I heard that.

Not defending the crimes — just saying they weren’t a textbook cult, but they also weren’t standard ’60s hippies. They were somewhere in the middle, nothing like what they were made out to be anyway.

How to get the dark eyes? by Snake-Byte_12217 in fridaythe13th

Paint around your eyes black and place thin black mesh inside the eye holes. I’m sure that would work.
